- I agree. While I enjoyed the solutions posted here, I also imagined the
- reaction of David's professor if he were to turn one of them in!
- Actually, David later e-mailed me a copy of his code and demonstrated
- that he was not looking for a hand-out. I hereby retract any sarcasm in
- my earlier post and would like to say that I liked his code the best!

- I still maintain, however, that it's better to point students in the
- right direction and let them figure things out on their own than give
- them the answers on a silver platter--except when I'm the student, of
- course. Then it becomes annoying, dammit. :-)
